What is expected of a toy factory is that the people who work in it have a lot of fun. “Just kidding,” that's what happens at Lego headquarters in Billund, Denmark.
Lego's office is a work environment where humor and creativity reign.
With the task of planning the ideal place where toys are developed, the Dutch office Rosan Bosch presented the perfect architectural design.
Focused on maximum sunstroke, which keeps the sun-soaked interiors for most of the day, the entire building was built on company values such as fun, innovation, imagination and sustainability.
The layout of the building, with its bright colors and partition-free spaces, encourages interaction and formal business meetings, where serious matters are often resolved without the pressure of being around a conference table.
And best of all is the slide on the building shaft, accessible from all floors. After all, to be part of the childhood of millions of children you have to get in the mood.
