We like to eat fresh food, but there are people who overdo it. Imagine a bunch of people who love salad. So much so that they are not content to just eat them. Meet the incredible Vegetable Orchestra, a spectacle for all senses!
You will never look at a cucumber the same way again. Founded in 1998, the Vegetable Orchestra takes its show around the world, featuring a menu of songs that mix different styles with house beats, experimental electronic and free jazz. Like the repertoire, its components are quite varied, bringing together artists from varied backgrounds, such as architects, writers, poets, designers and… musicians!
Before the performances, a pass at the fair becomes mandatory. The instruments are made just hours before each show, as fresh vegetables produce a better, finer sound. And they also guarantee a look that values healthy eating. Depending on the season and places visited, the choices vary. With this, the musicians come together to decide the repertoire of the night. In the end, the public is invited to have a nice soup. And everyone asks for an encore.
