Today there are applications for all purposes.

If the goal is never to leave us alone, this release has come at a good time.

Pooductive is an app that lets you chat with others in the bathroom with you.

But not necessarily in the same bathroom, and not in the same country.

The name is a humorous pun on the word "poo", which in very childish English means "poop", and "productive", which means "productive".

The idea is to keep people around the world connected and productive even when they're in the bathroom.

After all, according to research on people's habits of using their smartphones, 75% of respondents admitted to using the devices while using the toilet.

And in this position, over 90% have already had telephone conversations.

According to the app's creator, Ricardo Gruber, it is in the bathroom that we have countless creative insights.

But it's not about competing with WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.

Inspired by the environment in which it should be used (the "throne"), the application has a noble purpose.

Its developer intends, with the disclosure, to raise funds for projects that aim to ensure basic sanitation to underserved communities.

The money will go to providing restrooms for some of the 663 million people worldwide who do not have access to this service - to donate any amount, click here.

The app is free and available for iPhone - click here and download it now.
