Strength in the wig

Jokes between big guys and nerds are, like most of them, based on prejudice. Researchers at Kings College London have discovered the scientific link between exercise and brain enhancement.

A study of age-related problems found that regular activity exercises the brain more than puzzles and chess games. Specifically, brisk walking or my sacred run for 40 minutes three times a week helps protect against brain degeneration.

The results corroborate a similar finding in an experiment conducted at the University of Pittsburgh. For the same 40 minutes of exercise three times a week, study participants recorded a 2% increase in brain mass. Considering that the brain shrinks 1% a year, the math of effort pays off. Participants between 55 and 80 also had development in the hippocampus, the part responsible for the memories.
