Physical activity helps in self-control

Resisting caloric temptations is easy: all it takes is self-control. Do you find it difficult? Physical activity can help. And you don't have to run a marathon for that!

A quick workout and then your brain gets an extra dose of oxygen in the area responsible for self-control and your ability to plan. This way, you feel less like eating and don't go out and about.

Try it: Take a 10- to 40-minute session and then see how it works when deciding between a salad and a piece of pizza.
