Divorced men suffer more

Even if divorce has not left you heartbroken, for men, the result of separation can literally affect you. So says a recent survey published in Journal health establishing evidence that divorced men have more health problems than married men.

Divorced men are more likely to have higher rates of alcohol and substance abuse. Also, they have less sex and are less satisfied with what they have. Meanwhile, most women become more positive and more concerned about their individual well-being.

But if you think that simply living together instead of getting married will help keep you healthy, it's important to keep in mind that research has found that couples living together are equally affected.

However, the researchers say that couples who underwent therapy before separation hardly experienced any of the aforementioned problems. So if you think about divorce, run to the analyst!
