French artist Thomas Jullien has edited a short movie with shared images on the Instagram social network. During the clip, it is possible to take a short trip around the world from Paris to Sydney by stopping motion editing of these photographs.
The work brought together 852 photographs from different places and authors. According to Thomas, the idea of the project was to “organize the chaos” that we see on the internet. Following a crowdsourcing model, the intention is to record the credits to the authors who identify themselves. The curious thing is to observe how different people take similar photos.
