A night at the zoo

Hosting a thousand stars. In safari-style tents, the zoo offers outdoor stays and special programming among kangaroos, koalas, lions, giraffes, elephants and zebras. Program for the whole family just not recommended for sleepwalkers!

By scheduled trip to Australia? Among the Sydney accommodation options, the choices always try to contemplate the beautiful views of the city. But the best of all is not in any hotel. For those wishing to observe the scenery from above and enjoy the ride in a unique way, check in is at the zoo.

Taronga Zoo's Roar and Snore program offers programming that is literally animal. The idea is to provide the exotic luxury of a safari-style lodge in a wild environment just right for the whole family.

The experience begins at precisely 6:15 pm, with the encounter with native animals of the country, such as kangaroos, koalas and some reptiles. At nightfall, the group goes to dinner. Then, for digestion, everyone leaves for a visit to the nocturnal animals. The next morning, at 6 am, everyone goes on a tour behind the scenes of the zoo, where it is possible to touch and feed some of the species, such as the docile giraffes. The show was made famous by visiting the extended family of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in late 2013.

To sleep with the roars of lions, the price is about 500 reais per person. Children who need to be over five pay half. Meals are included in the package. We imagine this to be a perfect schedule for the July school holidays. Share this story with your children, and make your reservation now.
